ADHD Assessment

We offer comprehensive ADHD assessments for children and adults. Our process is designed to understand you or your child’s attention, behaviour, not just provide a diagnosis, but a roadmap for support at home/school/work. Assessments are conducted by a Registered Psychologist in our office (Glenelg, SA).

What does it involve?

  1. Clinical interview - 60 minutes (including DIVA structured interview) – to understand your full history, traits of ADHD, and current concerns.

  2. Cognitive testing (2 hours approx) – to understand and assess your cognitive profile. It assesses: reasoning, working memory, processing speed, and problem-solving skills.

  3. Behavioural and attentional questionnaires (Conners 4, completed by parents and teachers) – to gather information across settings for child assessments. Adult assessments include questionnaire’s assessing traits of ADHD.

  4. Comprehensive written report – integrating all findings with individualised recommendations for home/ school/work/higher education.

  5. Feedback session (30 minutes) – to discuss results, diagnosis (if applicable), and next steps for support.

    Cost:

    The total cost for the comprehensive ADHD assessment is $1,595, which includes all assessment materials, scoring, interpretation, and your written report.

Educational Assessment

Our educational assessments are designed to build a complete picture of an individual’s learning profile — their cognitive strengths, areas of challenge, and the way they process and retain information.

Our educational assessments can help identify specific learning disorders, including:

  • Dyslexia – difficulties with reading accuracy, fluency, and comprehension.

  • Dysgraphia – challenges with handwriting, spelling, and written expression.

  • Dyscalculia – persistent difficulties understanding numbers, performing calculations, and applying mathematical concepts.


    Whether your child is struggling with reading, writing, mathematics, or general learning, our goal is to help you understand why and provide clear, evidence-based recommendations to support their progress at school and at home. Assessments are available for children and adults.

Our comprehensive educational assessment explores both cognitive ability and academic achievement, alongside emotional and behavioural functioning

  1. Clinical interview - 60 minutes – to understand your child’s developmental, academic, and social-emotional history.

  2. Cognitive testing (2-3 hours approx) – to understand and assess your child’s cognitive and learning profile. It assesses: reasoning, working memory, processing speed, problem-solving skills, reading, writing, mathematics, and oral language abilities.

  3. Behavioural and emotional functioning (BASC-3) – completed by parents and teachers to provide insight into a child’s attention, self-control, adaptability, and emotional well-being within home and school settings.

  4. Comprehensive written report – integrates all findings to identify learning strengths, areas of need, and tailored strategies for home and school.

  5. Feedback session (30 minutes) – to go through results, diagnosis (if applicable), discuss next steps, and ensure clarity around recommendations.
