The standard therapy fee is $260 per session. With a valid referral under a Mental Health Treatment Plan, the current Medicare rebate for a 50+ minute session with a registered psychologist is $101.55, leaving an out-of-pocket cost of $158.45 per session.
Saturday sessions incur a $20 after-hours fee.
Eligible clients can access Medicare rebates for up to 10 individual mental health treatment sessions per calendar year, subject to Medicare eligibility and referral requirements.

No referral is required to access psychology privately. The full session fee is payable at the time of your appointment.
If you have private health insurance with psychology extras cover, you may be eligible to claim a rebate towards the cost of your session. Rebate amounts vary between insurers and levels of cover, so we recommend checking directly with your private health fund to confirm your entitlements.
Private health insurance cannot be used in conjunction with a Medicare rebate for the same appointment.

Asiya Psychology welcomes self-managed and plan-managed NDIS participants where psychology is an appropriate support within your plan and aligns with your individual goals.
Psychology sessions can support areas such as emotional regulation, social and interpersonal skills, independence, coping strategies and building capacity in everyday life, depending on your individual needs and NDIS goals.
Asiya Psychology is not an NDIS-registered provider and is therefore unable to accept NDIA-managed participants.
NDIS services are billed in accordance with the applicable NDIS pricing arrangements.

Available for children and adolescents, including assessment for difficulties associated with dyslexia, dysgraphia and dyscalculia.Assessment fees cover the complete assessment process, which may include clinical interviews, standardised psychological testing and materials, questionnaires and collateral information, scoring and clinical interpretation, a comprehensive personalised psychological report, individualised recommendations and a feedback session.
Psychological assessments are privately funded and do not attract a Medicare rebate. NDIS funding may be used for some assessments where the assessment is appropriate to the participant's disability-related support needs and consistent with their plan.

OUR CANCELLATION POLICY
We understand that life can be unpredictable, and sometimes, plans change. However, to respect everyone's time and ensure we can offer our services to those who need them, we have a 48-hour cancellation policy.
If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, please give us 48 hours notice. Late cancellations/reschedules with less than 48 hours incur a fee.
