Registered Psychologist
Meet Adrianna
I’m Adrianna, a Registered Psychologist and founder of Asiya Psychology. I work with children, adolescents, and adults, supporting people through the parts of life that can feel difficult to understand, shift, or navigate alone.
What matters most to me is understanding the person behind what brings them to therapy. I’m interested in the why - the experiences, relationships, and patterns that have shaped how you see yourself, relate to others, and move through the world.
My Approach
‘Know all the theories, master all the techniques, but as you touch a human soul be just another human soul’ - Carl Jung
This quote has stayed with me because it captures something that can be easy to lose in psychology: behind every theory, diagnosis, and intervention is a person with their own story. That perspective shapes the way I practise - taking the time to understand you as a whole person, and allowing that understanding to guide the work we do together.
Alongside therapy, I provide ADHD, cognitive and learning assessments for children, adolescents and adults, with an emphasis on looking beyond the symptoms to understand the individual behind them.
What Therapy Looks Like With Me
I see therapy as a place to become more curious about yourself - to understand why certain patterns keep repeating, why some things affect you as deeply as they do, and how your experiences have shaped the way you relate to yourself and others.
I believe that you are the expert in your own life. I bring psychological knowledge, evidence based therapy, and a perspective outside your own. Our work may involve looking more deeply at longstanding patterns, gently challenging ways of thinking that no longer serve you, processing, or developing strategies for what you’re facing right now. There is no script for therapy, because there is no one else with your exact story.
How I work
I draw from a range of evidence-based therapies, choosing approaches based on what we understand about you and what you need from therapy.
My work is informed by Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Schema Therapy, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT) and trauma-informed approaches.

Asiya Psychology is built on the belief that healing happens through understanding, connection, and a deep respect for each person’s inner strengths. The name Asiya reflects the essence of what we offer—a space for compassion, care, and growth.
At Asiya Psychology, our ethos is that each individual holds innate strengths, but during challenging times, it’s easy to lose sight of these strengths within. Our role is to help you reconnect with that strength and support you, no matter where you are in your journey.
We take the time to meet you where you are, understand your story, and guide you to where you want to be. We understand that each person’s journey is unique, and we are committed to providing a personalised approach that resonates with you.
Through therapy, we aim to help you rediscover your inner strength, embrace your potential, and build your understanding of self to grow and live a meaningful life.
